Andrew Leigh, Chief Executive Prior to Hammerson House, Andrew worked at Nightingale House for eight years, finishing as Deputy Executive Director. As Chief Executive his role is to ensure the overall smooth running and strategic development of Hammerson House.

Celia Collier Bawden, Matron Matron Celia is the Registered Care Manager who has over 30 years experience as a General Nurse. She is supported by a team of Deputy Matrons and an excellent mix of skilled nurses, senior carers and carers with over 90% having more than 5 years working in the care profession. Continuous staff-training is undertaken to ensure high standards are maintained at all levels with 50% of staff and carers having either attained, or working towards achieving their National Vocational Qualification (NVQ).

Trefor Wilkinson, Office Manager Trefor is the Office Manager in the General Administration Office. Together with Judy Spector and Tracey Powell he deals with general non-nursing matters.

Activities: Marguerite Brodtman and Christina Rowlands Marguerite and Chris share the role of Activities Co-ordinator. Their job, with their team of assistants, is to provide a varied range of activities throughout the week. Robyn Deutsch is the teams Administrator.

Anna Steele, Physiotherapy Manager Anna is our Physiotherapy Manager and has two assistants, Nikki Ward and Angela Davis. The department is open Monday-Friday (except Jewish holidays).

Oliver Smith Oliver is the Maintenance Manager. With his staff James Bradshaw and Olayinka Olawale, they ensure that the building remains warm and in good working order.

Sharon Gauci Sharon is the Housekeeping Manager. Together with her staff she ensures that the building, including all the residents' rooms, are kept clean and tidy. She is also responsible for the in-house laundry service.

Jonathan Shaham, Catering Manager Catering at Hammerson House is provided by Caterplus, a company with many years experience serving residential homes. Food is prepared daily on the premises. Renato De Leo is the Dining Room Supervisor.

Myra Stern, Volunteer Co-ordinator Myra's role is to recruit and liaise with our team of volunteers. Volunteers play an important role in supporting the Home, undertaking a range of activities including befriending, working in the shop and accompanying residents on trips and outings.
