Hammerson House offers three levels of care for residents: sheltered housing, residential care, and nursing care. We have 14 nursing beds, and 54 residential beds.

Residential care caters for those who require assistance in the activities of daily living, for example washing, bathing and dressing. Care is provided by our team of expert carers, and there are trained nurses on site who liaise with the District Nursing service where necessary as part of our multi disciplinary team.

We provide a complete range of services covering kosher cuisine, room cleaning, and laundry ('hotel services'). Our physiotherapists run regular exercise groups, and If their individual care plan requires, residents also benefit from access to our on site physiotherapy department.

A "buddy" system is in place so that established residents assist new residents, showing them the ropes and helping them to settle in.

We have an extensive on site activity programme and regular trips. The home is set among beautifully manicured gardens which provide a peaceful and enjoyable setting for residents to relax.
